Why choose Cambodia for your Learning Service programme

Cambodia provides a powerful setting for meaningful, curriculum-enriching learning beyond the classroom. Its heritage spans centuries - from the awe-inspiring temples of Angkor to the nation’s more recent and turbulent past under the Khmer Rouge - offering students the chance to explore a remarkable breadth of history. In a country still rebuilding its educational foundations after the systematic targeting of intellectuals during that era, the focus on supporting local schools and learning initiatives is both relevant and impactful.

This programme allows students to see how history directly shapes modern society, while engaging them in purposeful project work that develops critical thinking, empathy, and a stronger sense of global responsibility.
