High School Volunteer Projects - Winter & Summer Programmes

Our Two Week High School Volunteer Projects are a great way for students in years 11 & 12 to take part in constructive and worthwhile trips during their summer holidays.

With volunteers typically aged 15-18, the trips combine cultural immersion with community focused volunteer work or work experience.

Winter Dates

We also offer a diverse range of High School Projects in the winter (June-August). Designed primarily for students in the Northern hemisphere, some of these dates coincide with winter holidays. Students from Australia and New Zealand are welcome to join these groups as well.

Projects Abroad is a Registered Activity Provider for the Duke of Edinburgh Award. Our overseas volunteer projects best align with the Residential Section of the Gold Award, and may also be suited to other sections of the award.

Please contact Projects Abroad for more information about how your volunteer experience can count towards the Duke of Ed Award.

Impact of High School Project Volunteers

Every year, thousands of High School volunteers actively make a difference around the world. During their time abroad, they contribute towards achieving long-term goals and make a long-lasting positive impact on the communities where they work. If you want to know more about their achievements, read our 2017 High School Projects Impact Report.
